Katelyn Dunlevy Perez
Vice President

Katelyn Dunlevy Perez
Vice President
Katelyn officially joined D. A. Dunlevy full-time in 2010 after earning her degree in Business Management from James Madison University, but her understanding of the company runs much deeper than her start date. As the daughter of founders David and Angie Dunlevy, Katelyn has witnessed every stage of the company’s growth—from a small family operation to one of the region’s most respected landscape design-build firms. That history has given her a rare perspective: she approaches every decision with both the heart of a steward and the eye of a strategist.
As Vice President, Katelyn oversees the financial, administrative, and business development arms of the company. She manages with quiet confidence and an almost architectural sense of balance—each system she builds supports another. Her approach to finance is careful and measured, yet her vision for the company’s growth is ambitious and forward-thinking. She is deeply committed to the idea that long-term success is built not only on sound business principles but also on lasting relationships—with clients, with vendors, and with the team that carries the company’s legacy forward. Katelyn’s leadership brings a sense of structure and calm to the whirlwind of a busy design-build firm, ensuring that the creative freedom that defines our work is always anchored by stability and purpose.
Tracy Meekins
Landscape Designer

Tracy Meekins
Landscape Designer
Tracy joined our administrative team in 2012 with a degree in Interpersonal and Organizational Communications from Salisbury University. Her talents quickly proved to be further reaching than anyone could have imagined when she walked through the door. Tracy found herself enmeshed in nearly every aspect of the company before long. Her development into a talented designer came through a tenacious commitment to learn through every opportunity and capitalize on every experience - a process that has found her on the creative end of the designer’s pencil, the businessperson’s end of a contractual agreement, the operator's end of earth moving equipment, and everything in between. Through her wide range of experiences, a budding young talent has grown into a skilled and resourceful designer that is astute beyond her years. She has displayed a knack for creating and evaluating landscape designs that translates into beautiful, functional, and healthy outdoor living spaces for our customers.
Gina Palmer

Gina Palmer
Landscape Designer
Since joining our team in 2011, Gina has brought an unmatched level of creativity and intellect to our design department. With a degree in Plant Science and Horticulture from the University of Delaware and a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from Virginia Tech, she fuses deep horticultural knowledge with an artist’s eye for composition. Her designs are marked by both beauty and clarity—where creativity meets discipline and imagination meets precision. Gina approaches every project with a careful mind and a curious spirit, ensuring that our drawings, details, and documentation not only meet but elevate the standard of excellence our customers have come to expect. Her ability to marry innovation with practicality has made her one of our most trusted design voices.
Manuel Barillas
Installation Production Manager

Manuel Barillas
Installation Production Manager
Manuel “Manny” Barillas came to D. A. Dunlevy as a crew leader and quickly proved himself to be one of the most capable field craftsmen in the company’s history. His technical skills were apparent from the start—precise grading, clean lines, uncompromising attention to construction detail—but what truly distinguished Manny was his leadership. He has a gift for reading both people and projects, pairing crews to complement one another’s strengths and anticipating challenges long before they arise.
As Installation Production Manager, Manny oversees multiple crews and a wide range of complex installations, from high-end residential landscapes to intricate commercial environments. He approaches every job with calm authority and genuine care for the people he leads. Under his supervision, our field teams don’t just execute designs—they build legacies that stand the test of time. Manny is deeply invested in developing our younger crew members, sharing his knowledge of stonework, grading, and craftsmanship with the same patience that helped him master those skills himself. His humility, professionalism, and relentless commitment to quality have made him a model of what field leadership should look like at D. A. Dunlevy.
Amelia King
Project Coordinator

Amelia King
Project Coordinator
Amelia joined our team as Project Coordinator in April 2021 and quickly became one of the most valuable additions we have made in recent years. She has demonstrated a dedication to her work and a progress-focused orientation that has made workflow smoother for our team and the process so much more pleasant for the end user, our customers. Amelia joined the team and brought with her extensive experience in administrative work, supporting executives and managing office operations.
In her role as Project Coordinator Amelia is responsible creating seamless project execution for both our production team as well as our customers. This means she guides and oversees material sourcing, inventory and schedule management, client communication, facility organization, client invoicing, and so much more. It is rare that a person can join an organization and add such value so immediately; her ability to be a detailed, proactive team player who can easily juggle multiple projects and keep track of different deadlines is what makes her so valuable currently and so exciting when we consider her continued growth in the future.
Erin Riley
Office Administrator

Erin Riley
Office Administrator
Erin was welcomed to D. A. Dunlevy in December 2019 as an Office Administrator but her role in the years since has taken on a dramatically different nature; given the pandemic and the changing workflow and location of key staff members, Erin has come to embody a role that resembles connective tissue. As the central node to much of the operation, Erin connects and coordinates key staff from all different departments and has become the communication connect point for many staff and customers as well.
Erin joined us with an extensive background in client services and office coordination, but it is her willingness to assist all of her teammates, no matter what the assignment, that has proven to be the quality that makes her such an invaluable member of our team. Whether it’s coordinating our fleet, client relations, permitting, payables, receivables, or anything and everything in between, Erin both leads and supports the team on levels that would be nearly impossible to quantify. She is eager to learn all aspects of the company and industry, and her ability to balance all of her responsibilities, as well as facilitate the team, is second to none. We are so excited to have Erin on our team and can’t wait to see what the future holds for her career with us.

Ever Rodriguez
Maintenance Production Manager

Ever Rodriguez
Maintenance Production Manager
Ever Rodriguez joined D. A. Dunlevy in 2007, and from the beginning, his passion for the art of landscape maintenance was unmistakable. He built his expertise from the ground up—first mastering the fundamentals of planting, pruning, and seasonal care, then applying those skills with such consistency and pride that leadership became a natural next step. Today, as Maintenance Production Manager, Ever oversees both our residential and D.C. maintenance operations, guiding multiple crews with the same calm precision that has long defined his work.
Ever’s approach to maintenance goes far beyond routine care; he sees it as the ongoing act of stewardship—of keeping a landscape alive, evolving, and faithful to the original design intent. He works closely with Tracy and our design team to ensure that each property matures beautifully over time, with every pruning cut and planting decision serving a long-term vision. His crews mirror his quiet diligence and pride in detail, often earning the kind of customer loyalty that only comes from consistency and trust. In many ways, Ever embodies the spirit of craftsmanship that connects every branch of our company: patient, disciplined, and deeply invested in lasting beauty.
Patrisha Daugherty
Maintenance Administrator

Patrisha Daugherty
Maintenance Administrator
Patrisha joined our Administrative team in 2017 filling the role of Landscape and Construction Administrator. It didn’t take long for Patrisha to reveal that she possessed so many of the qualities that have made our culture what it is; Patrisha is versatile, dedicated, and cares deeply about making sure that everything she touches is done with excellence. Her qualities paired with her 20+ years of administrative and accounting experience made her the perfect fit to slide into the administration of our maintenance division, as well as our lighting and irrigation team, several years ago. She has genuinely made her current role her own as she has taken over much of the scheduling coordination, client interaction, material sourcing, and greenhouse management, in addition to all of the contract administration and invoicing. Beyond all that, the other amazing talent that Patrisha has brought to the team is impeccable design sense in the arena of annual flower selection and seasonal color displays. With Patrisha, both left brain and right brain come together to create a great talent that completes our truly world-class maintenance division from top to bottom.
