One of our favorite annual events is the U.S. Botanic Garden holiday display. Season’s Greetings is a must plan, free trip for garden lovers, holiday enthusiasts, or family fun. The Garden Railway model train exhibit is not to be missed, especially if you’re bringing the kids along. Train sets wind their way through a variety of plants and miniature villages. After you’ve seen the trains, you can view the rest of the Season’s Greetings exhibit throughout the Conservatory. The exhibit includes an assortment of seasonal plant displays and replicas of the capital’s landmark buildings. You also can’t miss one of the largest indoor decorated trees in D.C., viewable in the West Gallery.
